KeebKlean is built to do one thing — lock your keyboard and screen so you can clean them. It is designed to respect your privacy completely.
Nothing. KeebKlean collects no personal data. It has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no user accounts.
KeebKlean does not connect to the internet. It sends no information off your device, to us or to anyone else. It works entirely offline.
The Direct version of KeebKlean requests macOS Accessibility permission. This is used solely to intercept and block keyboard input while a lock is active, so that cleaning your keyboard doesn't type or trigger anything. This permission is never used to read, record, or transmit your keystrokes. The lock is active only while you choose to enable it, and input returns to normal the moment you unlock.
Your preferences (such as unlock hold duration and screen mode) are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard settings storage. They never leave your Mac.
KeebKlean does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
